Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort Highlights
- The former Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim, California has undergone a full transformation into the first all-Pixar-themed hotel in the US – the Pixar Place Hotel.
- Opened on January 30th, 2024, the chic 15-story hotel looks over the Disney California Adventure Park and celebrates the art of Pixar Animation Studios in a range of contemporary rooms.
- Guests are treated to vibrant Pixar artwork, a new “Finding Nemo” themed splash pad at the rooftop pool zone, a fitness center, Great Maple restaurant, a Pixar-themed shop, and a playground court, among other features.
- Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, Kirstin Makela and other creatives from Pixar Animation Studios, explain how the hotel melds art and technology to bring Pixar stories to life.
- The lobby boasts a Pixar Lamp sculpture and Pixar characters in the form of an imaginative mobile, with guest rooms decorated with Pixar movie concept art and a Pixar Lamp.
- The rooftop pool area hosts a slide named after Crush from “Finding Nemo”, a splash pad named Nemo’s Cove, private cabanas and fire pits.
- The hotel integrates a Pixar Shorts Court for guests to play outdoor games themed after Pixar short films, and a retail shop named STOR-E that sells Pixar-themed items amongst others.
- Pixar Place Hotel also features elegant food and beverage services executed by the Southern California-based eatery, Great Maple, serving a variety of playful, upscale comfort food.
- The hotel will unveil more features later in 2024 including themed suites and a concierge lounge on the second floor – the Creators Club.

It seems Mickey Mouse has gotten bored of his regular cheese and decided to spice things up with a pixie dust from Pixar. Disneyland Resort has decided that we, the humble guests, need to sleep, eat, and breathe Pixar, which explains their freshly baked, 15-storied Pixar pastry. This Pixar Place Hotel is Disneyland’s latest attempt to make our wallets scream “To Infinity and Beyond!” And from the looks of it, they’ve succeeded. With rooms that bring your favorite Pixar stories to life, a Nemo-themed splash pad, and even Pixar-themed outdoor games. Talk about a real-life Toy Story! With every Pixar character from “Incredibles” to “Up” peeping from every corner, this is clearly Disneyland’s Pixar-bomb, unapologetically colorful and screaming creativity from every nook.
